SEASHORE GROUP is one of the largest multi-disciplinary business conglomerates in the state of Qatar. The group operates from its headquarters at Al Khor, which is about 50 km north of Doha city. The owner and Chairman of the Group, Mr. Saeed Salem Al Mohannadi, a Qatari businessman and the Managing Director, Mr. Mohamed Ali, an Indian entrepreneur, established the company in 1989. The group started small, with just three workers and modest assets. Today Seashore is a thriving enterprise with over 3,500 employees and current assets totaling over QR 1000 million. The group has grown at an exponential growth rate since its inception. ABOUT SINOTRUK
China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ‘Sinotruk’), , was founded in 1930, which is the cradle of Chinas heavy-duty vehicle industry. In 1960, it produced Chinas first heavy-duty vehicle. In 1983, under the care of Comrade Deng Xiaoping, the Austrian Steyr heavy-duty vehicle project was successfully introduced, making it the first domestic enterprise to comprehensively introduce foreign heavy-duty vehicle manufacturing technology.
In 2004, a new generation of independently developed heavy-duty trucks was born under the brand name of HOWO, which was introduced to the market in 2005, and achieved production and sales of more than 10,000 units in the same year, which set a new record in the history of Chinas heavy-duty trucks at that time. In 2013, SITRAK series products with independent intellectual property rights were formally introduced to the market, leading the development of China’s heavy-duty vehicle industry. In 2020, a new generation of high-end national brand ‘Yellow River’ heavy-duty trucks was launched globally, leading Chinas heavy-duty trucks to become world-class.
Sinotruk has been awarded the honorary titles of ‘Chinas Outstanding Innovative Enterprise’ and ‘Chinas Quality Integrity Enterprise’, and the project of ‘Key Technology of Mechanical Auto-transmission Hybrid Powertrain Assembly for Commercial Vehicles and Its Industrialization’ has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award.
